Long Live the King!
Our award-winning Hockley team have again proved themselves, community heroes, by decorating the entire Hockley Village shopping area with hundreds of Union flags ready to celebrate the Kings' Coronation on May 6th. We didn't want the Village to look bare in the lead-up to Coronation day so delivered our latest community project.
What a wonderful spectacle for our Nation the Kings' Coronation will be, a time for families and friends to come together to celebrate, picnic, attend street parties and get involved in #thebighelpout within our communities.
Little doubt that the streets of London on the procession route will be decked out with flags heralding the new King so Colin, Jess, Jo and Callum decided to follow suit and decorate Hockley and bring some red, white and blue to the shopping areas at Spa Road and Main Road. We hope that visitors to the Village will be wowed by our decorations. We have certainly been inundated with thanks and positive messages for our efforts from the local community since the flags went up.
