Supporting Sweyne Park School Spread Christmas Joy!
We have been supporting the Year 13 Charity Team at Sweyne Park School in Rayleigh who have been generously creating shoeboxes full of gifts to send across the World as part of Operation Christmas Child. What a fabulous group of youngsters, well done.
Operation Christmas Child, the popular Christmas project by the Samaritan's Purse see gifts sent to the most deprived parts of the World to bring joy and hope at Christmas. We have been collecting wrapping, gifts and donated branded shoe-boxes to support the youngsters from Sweyne Park School in Rayleigh.
One of the Year 13 Charity team, Ella told us 'We would like to thank the community for their overwhelming support with the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Appeal that we’ve been running at Sweyne Park School this year, not only did we receive hundreds of donations, we managed to fill over 70 boxes!
We would like to thank everyone who donated, we received loads of knitted hats, filled pencil cases, toothbrushes as well as much more which has been a massive help in our project.
We would like to say a huge huge thank you to the team at Amos Estate Agents in Hockley who have not only acted as a drop off for donations but also donated 50 branded boxes, without their help, our project would have been that much harder.
Once again, thank you for your support, it has been so overwhelming'
