Hockley Remembrance Day Poppies; we need your help.
The community project we are most proud of are the thousands of knitted and crochet poppies which we display in Hockley during the two weeks leading up to Remembrance Sunday. We really couldn't deliver the project without the support of the knitting geniuses who create the poppies, we hope this year will be the biggest display yet.
It seems a long way off but there are only 110 days until our Remembrance Day knitted poppies display will return to Spa Road at Hockley . We have kept all of last years displays safe but are looking for your help to make 100’s more this time to cover all of the railings if possible.
If you are feeling creative and looking for a summer project then please call into the Amos Estates office at Hockley and collect a pattern, your help as always would be really appreciated. #LestWeForget
