Our Autumn of Community Projects
Hello from Jo, Izzie, Mia, Vicky and Colin at Amos Estates in Spa Road! We wanted to give you a quick update on our Late Summer/Autumn programme of community projects supporting Hockley. If you have any community ideas to spread friendship and kindness make sure you get in touch with our friendly team at Amos Estates in Hockley.
Our popular Saturday Community stalls outside the office provides the opportunity for fundraisers to support their chosen good cause, they also bring noise and community spirit to the Village. If you are a fundraiser, local, small business or a voluntary group then call us to book, you will be most welcome.
We will be helping Holly Gisby with her Baby Loss Awareness Week between 9th and 15th October. If you would like the name of your baby no longer with us then just send across a message and we will add to the display for you.
Plans for Hockley Halloween Trail are well advanced which we hope will attract hundreds of youngsters to the Village again this year.
We are also getting ready to display thousands of knitted poppies in Spa Road over the first two weeks of November as part of our Hockley Remembers event. If you could knit or crochet any new poppies we would love to add them to the nets.
We will then move quickly onto the Hockley Remembrance Plaques on the Christmas Tree and the Santa Letters! We would love to see you and your friends and family taking part in our various projects. Thanks everyone.
