Darren Dukes

Director

Darren has been in Estate agency since 1984 working at Amos for long periods of his career. Buying into the business in 1996 he has successfully helped build Amos Estates into one of the leading estate agents in South Essex.

Darren is community spirited supporting local Schools and voluntary organisations including Westwood Academy, Deanes and Benfleet Rotary Club. He is still suffering at the hands of his beloved Spurs working off the frustration at his local gym. Darren has a very strong family commitment to wife Hermoyone and daughter Beatrice.

Colin MacLean

Director

Colin has been with Amos Estates since 1986 and is based at our busy Hockley Spa Road branch controlling residential sales and our specialist commercial and business transfer department.

Away from the business Colin is Chairman of Thundersley Town Team and Past President of the Canvey Island Rotary Club. Colin is well known for delivering community projects and has been nominated for Citizen of the Year by Rochford District Council three times. Saturdays are spent watching the Arsenal from his seat at the Emirates.

Jo Barham

Hockley Office Manager

Jo is our Hockley manager and specialises in visiting clients, carrying out market appraisals and designing bespoke marketing plans for our sales teams to work from. Jo has twenty-five years of customer care experience and has worked within agency for five years building an industry wide reputation for outstanding results.

Away from the office you are most likely to find Jo sat on an aeroplane en-route to her latest holiday sunshine destination, socialising, eating out or spending time with her family.

Rob Moir

Rob Moir

Hadleigh Office Manager

Rob is based at our Hadleigh Office and is responsible for negotiating sales, client contact and producing our award winning sales brochures. Rob started his Amos Estates career in 2009 and has quickly demonstrated a great reputation for excellent customer service and clever marketing.

In his younger days Rob supported numerous charitable organisations including charity runs and fundraisers. Away from work you will find Rob on a golf course, at West Ham United or spending time socialising.

Lettings Manager

Jess has been with the firm since April 2016 and is based at our busy Hadleigh office. Primarily dealing with residential lettings she is also a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor providing EPC’s for clients. She is highly qualified being a licenced member of Property Mark who also holds ABBE Levels 2 & 3 Certificate in Property: Sale of Residential Property and City & Guilds Qualifications in ICT & Customer Service.

Away from the office Jess has completed half marathons, fun runs and charity walks supporting good causes.

Andrew Gilbey

Andrew joined Amos Estates in 2015 initially working from our Hockley office before transferring his talents to our flagship Hadleigh branch. His primary role within our business is residential listings and is an important cog in our sales team.

Andrew has helped the local Rotary Club on their Christmas Sleigh collection . He has a keen interest in the equestrian business after spending much of his former career transporting horses across the globe.

With many years of experience in property management, Reece has built a strong reputation working for some of the largest and most respected firms across the South Essex area. Now based at the Amos Estates office in Hockley, Reece plays a key role in handling residential sales client enquiries, conducting property viewings, and negotiating offers with professionalism and a sharp eye for detail. His deep understanding of the local market and commitment to client care make him a vital part of the team.

Away from the office, Reece is a self-confessed coffee connoisseur, always on the hunt for new flavours and blends to fuel his day. When he’s not sampling his next favourite roast, he’s either working up a sweat at the gym or enjoying a round of golf, balancing his passion for fitness with time on the fairways.

Accounts & Administration

Catherine controls our accounts department including processing rents and credit control. She has dedicated her career to Amos Estates working for the firm since leaving School in 2000.

Catherine is another of our community minded team and you will see her out and about at numerous community events. In her spare time she loves travelling and sipping red wine.  Her passion is making crochet creations.

Having worked in the property industry for 10 years, Chelsea has a vast knowledge of the intricate buying and selling process. Honing her experience, together with clear communication and a personable approach, Chelsea found her skills are best put to use in our Sales Progression Department. For her, the best part of the job is going on the journey alongside our clients from offer acceptance through to legal completion.

With Chelsea on your side you will be in safe hands, as she is a qualified member of the National Association of estate agents.

Isabelle is the newest addition to our residential sales team working out of our Hockley office making sure that our office procedures are kept up to date and effective. Isabelle has a naturally friendly manner and displays that essential skill during all of her interactions with clients.

She loves all things property that said, the love of her life is not just estate agency mind, Ralphie her gorgeous cockerpoo takes that accolade. When not walking the dog, you will find her planning her next trip abroad to sunnier climes.

Joshua is a qualified ARLA member and also passed a two year Housing and Property management course. He has created a great career for himself in the lettings industry. He meets tenants for viewings and regularly gets great feedback and reviews due to his friendly yet knowledgeable approach.

Away from the office he is yet another West Ham fan and loves playing sports and drinking plus he is a big Michael Mcintrye fan.

Inspection Clerk

Meet Maria, our dedicated Inspection Clerk with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for organization. With her meticulous approach and extensive knowledge of our managed properties and clients. We are privileged to have Maria as a vital part of our team, ensuring our inspection operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Away from the office you will find her walking her gorgeous dogs around Hadleigh. Adventurous Maria is a lady of many talents being an avid mountaineer and has climbed Snowdon 4 times!

Tommy Butler

Entering the property business during the 2019 housing market boom has been somewhat of a baptism of fire for Tommy but he has quickly progressed and is now a vital cog in the machine of our busy Hadleigh branch. His role within the office includes administering the residential sales systems and dealing face to face with clients visiting the branch, he is a confident communicator who is particularly self motivated.

Outside the office Tommy is a keen, if not slightly delusional West ham United season ticket holder, attends the gym and enjoys socialising with friends at the weekend.

Abbie is the latest addition to the Amos family, our dedicated lettings negotiator with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for organisation. With her meticulous approach and extensive knowledge of our managed properties and clients.

Abbie is a valued member of our team who brings great energy and enthusiasm to everything she does. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping active at the gym, spending time socialising with friends, and indulging in her love for shopping. Her positive outlook and friendly personality make her a joy to have around both in and out of the workplace.

You will often see Lizzie in our Hadleigh office, she is the central hub keeping the office running smoothly and also helping with the sales progression. She will always help you with a friendly smile and has plenty of experience in Estate Agency.

Away from the office you will often catch her in the town with her partner and lovely Doberman (Eva) or spending time with her family putting her feet up after a day putting up with us.
